Now firmly established, Lancaster Building initially began as a local Sydney family business.
In 2010 Richard Jones founded Lancaster Building following a career in building and contracting. An apprentice at age 16, Richard acquired 35 years in the industry before he created Lancaster Building.
Developing an awareness for the industry, Richard first worked as a as carpenter and joiner, and later as a subcontractor at Carrington Associated Services. Now, Richard and his team are able to deliver a quality product because of their distinct passion for building and craftsmanship. As lead consultant and contractor at Lancaster Building, Richard is passionate about collaborating with clients on their visions, and working with them to innovate, create, and build.
When asked what is most satisfying about completing a build, Richard notes
“When you deliver a finished product, and the client is thrilled, and you know that you have just helped to create a space where someone is going to live, and generate new memories within.”

Richard Jones is the lead building consultant and contractor at Lancaster Building. A business founder, Richard is invested in the delivery of quality contracting to satisfied clients. Richard maintains all necessary certifications, and is a member of the HIA (Housing Industry Association).
Lancaster Building works with a range of subcontractors, who have collaborated with the business since its establishment. The subcontracting team execute plans and logistics, and are professional throughout the build.
